Sina and the Eel descripting sentences

 For the last week, our class has been learning old stories and myths, one of the myths we are looking at is called Sina and the Eel, We all made a few sentences describing things from the story.

Rainbows End!!!

 Hey Bloggers, a week ago we went to Rainbows End!!! It was a thank you for us by the teachers and staff at Owairaka.

Obviously this wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for the parent and teachers helpers, A huge thank you to them.

First I want on the fearfall, probably the most popular ride at the whole park! it took about 25 minutes just to get through the line!! Next I went to the bumber cars they were fun but I kept getting stuck!

I think the best ride was the Power Surge though, I went on it 2 times, the first time wasn't very scary, but for some reason the second time was!

For the last 10 minutes I played in VR with my friends it was really fun, I wasn't very good though.

Writing about a picture.

 Tyler dived down into the clear, cold water he was tracing the step of a colossal monster the size of a cruise ship, He could tell that someone was piloting it, he was gaining on it but he was also going deeper into the sea, he knew he only had about 2 minutes of breath left, the monster was slowing down, Tyler grinned, the inside of the machine must have been corroding! He could see a flappy bit in the machines armour, he threw a knife at it as hard as he could, the machine blew up and the pilots floated out, they were dead, Tyler knew he could save them, but he did see a sign on their armour that scared him, the symbol of Duke Barbarians, they must have been hired to rob that rich mans mansion.

Tyler quickly got up to the surface and jumped back into the boat he sped off to the shore and pondered himself about what had just happened, Who would have hired the Duke Barbarians like that he wondered, he got back to shore and went to his apartment, it was nothing special, the rooms were a mess and there was a bad stench around the place, the only reason he stayed in a place like this was because he didn’t want anyone to no what he was.

An awesome secretive spy, he worked for the governments international spy organization or GISO for short, and he was the best GISO spys there was, but there was one problem, His boss, Michael Chepro was a jerk, he never realised how good Tyler was, he also barely showed up to work, Michael was a middle aged overweight man who could barely get out of bed sometimes, his father was the boss of the entire organization, so he automatically was very high in the food chain.

But then something came on his head when he had grabbed the gold from the monsters pouch, there was barely anything there, only a couple of 100 dollar notes, the guy they stole from was a multi billionaire, they had snuck into his vault, there was bound to be jewels, gold and diamonds in there, something wasn’t right, the Duke Barbarians would only do something big…

Tyler woke up it was the middle of the night, he could here someone tiptoeing in the hallway, he could tell something wasn’t right no one knew where he lived apart from the people who worked at GISO, he Slowly and quietly walked down the stairs, who he saw was someone he never though about…

It was the Billionaire the Barbarians had stolen from!!!! He tackles the man and saw what he had in his hand , it was the money that Tyler had grabbed from the Barbarians, the man ran from Tyler, luckily Tyler had traps all around his apartment.

He tripped over a wire Tyler grabbed him and shouted at him “WHY ARE YOU HERE” the mans lip curled, “The Duke Barbarians didn’t steal money yesterday, they stole a bomb!” it all made sense now The billionaire was a war hero he must have been making bombs to obliterate the U.S. Army !!!

He took the Evil man to HQ and let his superiors handle it.

Later he was also promoted to Super Agent 293 the highest honor for recruited agents.

Athletics

 Hey bloggers, Liam here, Last week kauri team and puriri team went to Lovelock Track.

I did alright in most of the field events, especially long jump, I got 7th place in that!

but I was kinda saving a lot of my energy for the track events,

I didn't make the final of the 100mtrs , I made the final of the 200mtrs but came 4th, I came 1st in 400mtrs, and I came 3rd in the 800 mtrs, I know that I am going to Eden-Albert athletics because I came 1st in 400mtrs, I also know that I am in the relay team for the boys.

My hot face drips with sweat like a waterfall.

The sand flutters around with the flow of the wind.

The waves splash and break down, moving to the ocean.

I can feel the air roar against my skin.

Kelly Sport

 Hey Bloggers, yesterday we had half a day of fun games and activities, thank you to the Kelly Sports instructors for taking the time to coach and play with us, and also thank you to Mrs Mudgeway for organizing this event.

We played  scatterball, dodgeball, relays, throwing bean bags, in the river, herd and sheep, 3 in a row and madness. 

My favorite activity was definitely dodgeball because it was so fun and exhilirating.

Zones of Regulation.

 Hi bloggers, Liam here, Today I made a slide about the zones we enter and the emotions we feel and what we can do to get into the green zone(The happy zone)

It was hard to remember what you feel like in each zone.

I learnt a lot of what triggers our emotions and which ones are more common to feel.

It helps to research a lot of information and even ask for a little help from your teacher.

Hey bloggers, Liam here, Today I made A slide about The ocean and some of the things that live in it.

This was a pretty difficult task to tackle I had to research half of the things I wrote down.

I learned a lot about turtles, My favourite animal, Did you know that They are killed by Ferrets, skunks and ferrets?

Did you know that the Hawksbill Turtle is the most endangered sea animal?

My school pepeha.

 Hey bloggers, Liam here, Today I made my school pepeha and recorded myself saying it(just click the sound buttons on the slide)

I enjoyed making the slide and recording myself saying our school pepeha.

I learnt a lot about our school values and history.

If someone else was doing this I would tell them to decorate the slide and right down the Pepeha before you record yourself saying it.

My Fear Poem

 Hi bloggers, Liam here, Today I made a poem about fear, and How it feels, smells, sounds and looks like.

I enjoyed this activity a lot but it did take quite a lot of effort.

The tips I would give to someone doing this is that it helps to brainstorm and think of ideas before you actually start writing.
