Book Review:Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

Hi bloggers, today I am making a book review on the 6th harry potter book.

Hope you enjoy.

SPOILER ALERT.

The Half Blood Price is a very dark book, its biggest problem is its dialogue scenes, The scene is either all talking and no action, or all action and no talking.

It starts off with Harry meeting Horace Slughorn who will be his next potions master at Hogwarts, and there is reminder after reminder about how dark the world had become,

Theres a running joke that whenever Harry reads the newspaper Ron asks him if anyone they know is dead.

Even with the ministry trusting him, he still is in danger because Voldermort is still out there and trying to take over the world.

He starts beginning to think about what he has to do next and whats gonna happen next, there are lots of cliffhangers and points that really make you think about the book and summarize it better than any of the other ones.

This is why it is my favorite out of the series,  I'm not going to spoil the ending for anyone.

10/10

Have you ever read this book?

Have you read the entire series?

If so which ones were your favorite?

Later bloggers.

  2. Thanks for the review, Liam. I got a bit further than Rachael when I first read these (about 20 years ago I think). I think I got half way through Goblet of Fire. Thanks for the "Spoiler Alert" as well, VERY helpful.
