Seriously, I hate being in lockdown.
When I heard that there was going to be an announcement I thought it was just going to be a Covid 19 update of Jacinda Ardern saying something like, " remember it is still possible for a wave 2 of covid 19"
But oh boy was I wrong.
My parents woke me up at about 9:10 telling me that there was another announcement, so I got out of bed and watched in horror as they said that we were going back into lockdown.
The first day of lockdown was great to be honest, just being able to chill around and to nothing with no parents telling you you're going to be late for school.
But the second day of lockdown was kinda boring, see I had lots of things to watch on the first day but on the second day I had nothing to do but watch Youtube videos that I had already watched.
And thats how my lockdown has been happening for 5 days I have been sitting around thinking of ideas on what to do.
But now at least I have to do home learning which is something other than going back to sleeping all day.
Please give me something to do in the comments.
Later bloggers.
Hi Liam my parents woke me up too for the announcement, I was so shocked I could not get back to sleep. I have not been too bored but when I start to get restless I have been riding my bike around the neighbourhood and helping my dad paint the fence, doing some baking with my mum and talking to my neighbours over the fence, heaps of people are walking up and down my street for exercise.

Get creative - make something, read, help out around the house, rearrange your room, do the online/paper activities, choreograph a dance, wrtie and film one of your stories, make a stop-motion video etc etc etc. Keep busy but also enjoy your relaxing time.

Hi Rory, thanks for commenting on my blog.
DeleteI agree with you, I love sleeping in and relaxing but after like 1 hour it gets boring.
I went to your blog and next thing that happened was a hair in my cereal.

Thanks for sharing your experience of the level 3 announcement. I think a lot of people can relate. It definitely was a bit of a shock and a disappointment. Our 5 million strong will get on top of it again though so we all just have to do our part. Keep positive and stay busy - we'll be back at school before you know it!
